Make a statement with Prelude™ Blue Japanese Nepeta. Sturdy, upright stems are lined with very large, violet-blue blooms dotted with tiny purple spots, rising above fragrant, minty foliage. Its tall, upright habit adds a lush accent to borders and patios.
This long-blooming perennial flowers from late spring through summer, and trimming back spent flowers encourages a fresh rebloom. Bees, butterflies and hummingbirds all love it, making it a great addition to a pollinator garden. It is deer and rabbit resistant, good for cut flowers and even salt tolerant. Unlike most catmints, Japanese catmint performs best in cool, evenly moist soil.
