Sadly, didn't make it.
"I have a few varieties of coreopsis and they're usually pretty tough, but I guess this one is a little more finicky, as it never became established and didnt make it through the season."
9-12" tall x 12-15" wide. with Desert Coral Coreopsis (Tickseed) was selected for superior flower power and a dwarf, mounding habit. There is never a dull moment, with this Coreopsis cultivar, as plants bloom continuously, with new blossoms quickly covering the old flowers for no down time between blooms. Bright green foliage is disease resistant. Coreopsis is easy to grow, just give them plenty of sunshine and dry to medium, well-drained soil. Plants perform well on hot, dry sites and are drought tolerant once established. Low-growing Desert Coral Coreopsis works well at the front of beds and borders and is beautiful planted in mass. The compact habit is perfect for rock gardens or tucking into containers. Try naturalizing this North American native in meadows and native plantings. Plants benefit from spring division every two to three years. Deer resistant and salt tolerant.

"Planted in April. . . 3 mo later just as they started to bloom, rabbits ate 5 out of 6 plants down to the hard stems!!! So sad! I salvaged 1 by putting a huge fence around it. The plant is 30" tall by 30" wide, not compact as described. Flowers are beautiful 2 tone, but very small. From a distance you cannot even see the flowers. The foliage is very fine and flimsy. . . like tarragon leaves but thinner. Sprinkler watering bats them down. Hopefully, they will get sturdier with bigger flowers the second year of growth. . . IF I can keep the bunnies away from them!!! Sad, because the flowers really are lovely!!! I live by the coast with mild weather. Maybe under different conditions they would do better?"
"I love these sweet flowers! Mine arrived very healthy and strong. They are producing multiple flowers on each plant and the color is gorgeous! I'm in zone 6b, so if they overwinter well, I will buy more next summer."
"I planted this as an accent/filler plant. I chose it because it was a perennial and the picture of it looked like something I would enjoy having around. When I received the plant it was broken in half and very dry/wilted and distressed looking."
"I am really happy with this desert coral coreopsis - really great coral/burgundy flower color, airy stems and leaves. I'm giving this a 4/5 since I don't know yet if it'll come back next year. I hope it does! It looks terrific with the other colors - salmon, coral, pinks, reds, yellow, chocolate, etc."
"They bloomed all summer! My plants only spread to about 16 inches and about 12 inches tall. The deer did not touch them which was a pleasant surprise!"
"Hard working flower. Bloomed 10-20 coral colored flowers. Then after the wilted i cut it back by about 1/3 and now about a month later it has produced another load of blooms ad small buds even after I relocated them. Very pretty, grew about 2 feet tall and very easy to care for. My favorite new flower I added to my garden this year."
"Regrettably the coreopsis never made it. I have grown many of them but these plants died immediately. I would hope that other Gardner's had better luck."
