6-12" tall x 12-18â wide. Li'l Bang⢠âStarlightâ Coreopsis, also known as Tickseed, is an excellent choice for season-long blooms in the front of borders and small gardens. Part of the Liâl Bang series of coreopsis bred for their short, compact stature and large, sterile flowers that bloom from early summer through fall. Coreopsis is drought tolerant once established. This compact mounding coreopsis is perfect for containers, borders, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. Give plants plenty of sun and well-drained soil. Gently shear after the first flush of flowers to keep âStarlightâ blooming all season long. âStarlightâ is a reliable and well-behaved native selection that resists deer browsing. "While I still like the flowers, there is no white. It's more of a cream with quite a bit more of the raspberry red center. They are still pretty and luckily I they work for my color scheme but if you want a true white. . . this isn't it. The plants did arrive healthy and instructions were easy to follow."
"These arrived last spring & started blooming with lovely pure white & burgundy blooms. Within 2 weeks, they started to turn pale yellow & red, which does not work with my purple, blue, & white border. I thought the plants might need more time to get established, so I waited until this spring to see what would happen. The plants are healthy, but are still pale yellow & red—not the color advertised."
