Jack in the Pulpit boasts unusual, hooded green blooms with burgundy-striped interiors that surround an upright spadix, known as the “Jack” inside each flower. Blooms evolve to produce brilliantly-red berries. A truly stunning, unique plant for the shade garden, Jack in the Pulpit can reproduce and spread over time in moist soils. (Ariseama triphyllum)

Did not come up at all.

"I suspect our hard winter last year prevented this from growing at all. Deep cold with no snow cover."

Yes, I would

"These poor plants are really struggling with our EXTREME heat! I'm really worried about them."

Beautiful healthy plants

"These dry root bulbs were packed in moss and looked robust and ready to grow. They emerged in two weeks after planting. Beautiful striped blooms appeared along with healthy foliage. I'm very pleased!"

Elle (5/5)

It came up fine.

"Thank you"

I would buy this product again and again

"How you use the product. Things that are great about it. Things that aren't great about it."

Harish (5/5)

I would buy this again

"I was worried when I got this because it arrived 2 days before a trip and I didn't have time to plant it right away. On my return two of the bulbs had started to sprout in the packaging and I planted right away. They have been planted in their new homes for about 2 weeks now and are healthy and continue to grow and already look healthy, unique and will bring a great talking point to my garden!!"

Doing Great for Me in Dry Shade Under White Pines

"I planted my bag of Jack in the Pulpits several years ago and they have gotten more and more vigorous every year. I wanted to leave a review because they are actually planted in very deep, dry shade under mature white pines. Wondering if the drier conditions or acidity might be helping mine along, compared the the results others had."

So far, so good

"These grew. Out of the 3 planted, 2 made jacks. So I hope next year will be good."
