'Provence' Lavender is tolerant of poor soils and a true heat lover; it's even known to withstand heavy doses of summertime humidity. One of the tallest and most fragrant varieties, 'Provence' grows to be 30-36” tall and is an excellent choice for creating an aromatic hedge. With exceptionally long, mauve-purple spikes of flowers that are complemented by its silver-green foliage, it's a beautiful sight when swaying in the breeze. (Lavandula x intermedia).

Established nicely in first year - modest blooming

"Planted with three other American Meadows lavenders. In our Missouri clay, I dug out a 12" hole 15" deep for each plant. It is filled with 40% sand, 40% pea gravel, and 20% soil over a layer of 1" pebbles. This gave the necessary drainage to make the plant thrive in a humid area. I also gave plenty of room around the plants and placed them where there is ample sun and wind."

"We ordered 20 plants and they all arrived in very good condition and were as described. We have put them in the ground and are very excited to see them grow. We will definitely use American Meadow in the future"

Gorgeous plant! Have it both indoors and outdoors.

"Striking plant with silvery leaves. Just keeps blooming. Able to withstand 100degree heat in rock garden on west side of house. Butterflies loved it. Also keeping a plant inside the house in south/west sunny exposure, and it's blooming in January!"

Great

"Great product even if a very small plant comes. . . It takes a lot of time to grow but it's great"
