White-Tinged Sedge is a lovely North American native species. It features fine, glossy, bright green foliage that makes for a lovely groundcover. In late spring, the wispy arching foliage is topped by upright flower spikes with a rosy-wheat color and a distinct white margin. Naturally found in dry woodlands, this is an attractive solution for dry shade. It will spread by rhizomes to create a soft groundcover beneath trees or tall perennials. It is low-maintenance, adaptable, and resistant to deer and rabbits. (Carex albicans)
