Shasta Daisy, Alaska is the most famous cultivar of this beautiful European wildflower. Large white flowers perfect for cutting. (Leucanthemum superbum)
This is a great plant, hybridized from a European wildflower. Its not invasive like our common daisy, and has larger flowers. Whats more, the flowers are classic white daisies, and look great both in more formal perennial displays and in informal wildflower gardens.

"I had not been familiar with this type of Shasta daisy--but decided to try it based on the description. I am thrilled with the display it has produced in this, its first year. It actually had more flowers than the new Becky planted a yard away from it. Very full plant, looking great. I did put a support around it and it did well through the torrential rains we've been subjected to lately."

EASY TO GROW AND ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL!
"Shasta daisies are not fussy. Their cheerful bright white flowers always work well in the garden. They were very small (compared to what you would get in a big box store) but very healthy and they took well and bloomed after several months. I expect them to really take off now that they are well established. They tend to collapse with hard rain, so I tucked them in between other plants that will provide some support."

I am getting more this year.
"I used this flower to border around the outside of our land. It is just beautiful and blooms for a very long time. I just love them."

Big,Beautiful Bushes
"These daisies did not disappoint. Covered with white flowers and came back with more after many cuttings. I just love white daisies in a deep blue vase - so clean and fresh-looking. I dug them up to re-postion them in the bed last fall, and this spring they are full and lush, about twice the size of the oringinal planting. I look forward to endless bunches of blooms this summer."
