Meet a Shasta daisy unlike any other. Carpet Angel® Shasta Daisy is billed as the first groundcover Shasta daisy, hugging the ground in a dense, well-branched carpet that is smothered in flowers all summer long. Each bloom is a little work of art: shaggy, fully double, anemone-type flowers with reflexed white petals and frilly white centers surrounding a pop of lemon-yellow.
Its low profile makes it perfect for the front of the bed, edging, mass plantings and containers, and it is a delightful choice anywhere you'd like colorful flowers without replanting annuals every year. The blooms are long lasting both in the garden and in the vase, butterflies love to visit, and deer and rabbits leave it alone. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage even more blooms.
Fun fact: Carpet Angel® is the groundcover form of the Angel Daisy. Its family tree traces back to the classic Shasta daisy, developed by legendary American plant breeder Luther Burbank.
