The native range of Rhus aromatica extends over most of North America, growing in rocky prairies and open fields from coast to coast. Tolerant of a wide array of soils and thriving in full sun, Lacetteā¢ can handle hot, dry planting areas once established. It's a great solutions for a wide range of planting applications, including sloping hillsides, urban parking lots, creating attractive hedging, and is lovely in informal gardens and landscapes. It features dense branching that develops into tight mounds, and it and seldom needs pruning. With the use of living hedges becoming more popular, Lacette is the perfect candidate to use in tough, sunny sites.
