"This bed is located in Zone 6b, and planted on April 25, 2026. I added Lilac Spire Rocket Larkspur to the Blue section. Also, pulled the Lupine seeds out of the blue mix, soaked them for just over 24 hours then put them in topsoil in a garden pot. There is 100% germination of the Lupine seeds, so they are also planted in the blue section. Both Lupine and Larkspur are lightly covered with soil. All other seeds are sown on top of the soil and rolled. Fingers crossed!"
Celebrate in full bloom with our Red, White & Blue Wildflower Seed Patchwork, a patriotic planting that brings star-spangled color and pollinator-friendly beauty to your landscape. This collection includes three of our exclusive single-color wildflower seed mixes (one red, one white, and one blue) each brimming with over 10 vibrant varieties that bloom in harmony within their shade. Whether you’re marking a holiday, creating a themed garden, or simply love these bold, classic colors, this patchwork makes it easy to grow with intention and flair.
Perfect for planting ahead of summer festivities, this mix adds natural charm to Fourth of July celebrations, Memorial Day gatherings, Labor Day weekends, Veterans Day remembrances, and even festive parades, picnics, weddings, or community events. Sow in color blocks for striking patriotic displays, or blend the mixes together for a meadow-style swirl that waves like a living flag in the breeze.
Each mix includes a blend of annuals and perennials, chosen for their color, bloom time, and pollinator appeal. They’re easy to grow in full sun and well-drained soil, and once established, they’ll need little maintenance. All they will need is sunshine, the occasional watering, and admiration. With blooms unfolding from early summer through fall, this patchwork offers lasting beauty and ecological benefits all season long.
