Description

‘Orange Pitcher’ Calla Lilies add a juicy splash of color to any garden or patio display. Callas grow well in containers. Grow them on a sunny deck, patio, or balcony where their attractive foliage and fluted flowers can be enjoyed up close. Plus, the elegant flowers are popular in cut flower bouquets, too.

Native to South Africa, Callas prefer sunny sites with moist soil. They can benefit from some shade or protection from intense afternoon sun, which can burn the foliage. In hot climates, the plant will die back and go dormant after flowering.

In colder zones, you can lift and store the bulbs in a cool, dry location for the winter, then re-plant them in spring.
