So beautiful
"The flower is just as pictured and perfect. Love it!"
Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers and pinch off small side buds to encourage larger flowers if desired.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Mostly just to look at in my garden. Cut for a bouquet. Nothing bad so far."
"Last year was my first year growing dahlias, and there's so much to learn. But these Lifestyle dahlias were prolific bloomers and are blooming beautifully again this year after surviving my first try at wintering over the tubers. They're smaller than the large, showy dahlias, but they more than make up for it with the gorgeous yellow and pink coloring, the profusion of blooms, and their hardiness. They do require staking to avoid flopping -- I'm using tall tomato towers this year."
"The delicate transition of petal color and size made these dahlias stand out from the others in my garden. (The looked even better in a flower arrangements). Mine were late to bloom but worth the wait. Even when staked, their delicate stems were susceptible to breakage in high winds. I recommend planting them somewhere with a bit of protection."
"Planted in a border by the driveway. Grew nice and big but only a few blooms so far. Hopefully will produce more up to Fall. Blooms are on the smaller side."
"I love these beautiful flowers! They remind me of lotus or lily flowers!"
"Decided to try my hand at Dahlias this year. Plant arrived on time and healthy. Planted and started to sprout in June (Zone 7). The are quite tall, only began to flower late July. The real test will be how they winter over after the are removed from the garden."
"Second year growing this dahlia, Lifestyle. It's blooming now in zone 10 at the end of June. There are many buds. It has medium-size flowers, the leaves is airy pointed, the flower form and color is interesting. Thank AmericanMeadows for the good bulbs!"
"Purchased at the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic and they shipped earlier than they promised in order to get it to me. Great shipping and instructions. My dahlias are about to bloom and I am so glad I planted them when I did. This variety looks really healthy and they are about to flower. I am excited to cut them for a bouquet and reuse the tubers year after year."
"I planted 2 Anemone Dahlia tubers in the garden and 1 in a planter. They are growing tall and sturdy. I expect them to bloom soon. Can't wait!"
