How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
'Snow Country’s huge, white flowers make an unforgettable show, especially at dusk or in the evening. They literally light up the area with their serene beauty, seeming to float like full moons above the garden. Plant them where you and your friends will enjoy them on balmy summer and fall nights.
Dahlias are perennial in zones 8-10, but in cooler zones, tubers can be dug after frost comes, stored over winter, then re-planted the following spring. Grow Dahlias in a sunny spot, in average soil that drains well. Keep moisture consistent once it begins to grow and enjoy a non-stop color parade. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage more flowers and pinch off small side buds to encourage larger flowers if desired.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"OK"
"She is a pure white, huge reliable and long holding flower. First to come out and shine!"
"I've been so impressed with the blooms on the Snow Country Dahlias. HUGE blooms for nearly two months, and only then done when frost came to my area. This is a seriously prolific bloomer. Gigantic show-stopping blooms that look great in the garden, as a cut flower, and at night in my moonlight gardens too. I put these in my raised bed for cut flowers and they've done very well there. They can get big and would benefit from staking. I tend to plant too many in the space close together so they kind of hold each other up. Despite being overcrowded (I can't resist adding more in every year) they still do very well and I've had no issues with pests. These are super easy and look really impressive for nearly no work."
"very large blooms. Only drawback is the stem seems a bit flimsy for this giant flower, but I use in small lipped vases on its own or with two other flowers. Pairs well with sweet Nathalie Dahlia"
"Even though small, definitely NOT dinner plate sized, which I have grown in previous years, the stalks did NOT fully support the flowers. They were more of a off-white color than "snow colored. ""
"Plants got p. m. , then recovered (with help) but were weak and blooms tended to break the stems. Not a total failure, but disappointing compared to three or four extravagant showings in previous years."
"Prolific bloomer on all 3 plants grown. Medium to large flowers in pure white."
"Elegant, hardy, huge flowers that keep on giving all season long!"
"Very vigorous grower. Very large and profuse blooms. Lasted early summer into fall."
"I used it in bouquets and will use for my daughters wedding."
