Be aware: They grow three to four feet high!

"I grow orange and yellow cosmos to harvest the flowers for natural dye. I used to grow the dwarf variety as they are compact and produce loads of blooms but greenhouse were I purchased seedlings closed. I have tried these seeds repeatedly and I always get tall plants. Since I am harvesting the blooms I don't have to bend down so much so I don't mind."

Great, but. .

"I expected multiple colors, but they are all orange. They grew easily and look beautiful, but I think the varied colors would be better."

Absolutely adorable

"Absolutely lovely! Make great casual bouquets for myself and friends. Wish cut flowers lasted longer, but I would like all the flowers in my garden to last longer once cut."

My favorite cosmos

"I purchase these cosmos every year and just throw the seed down around Mother's day. The fall show they put on goes right to frost. This cultivar does not flop for me and blooms sooner than Bright Lights. Highly recommended for a butterfly garden."

TOO SHORT!

"I thought the cosmos would be taller. Also they didn't have any red flowers in the mix. But I called customer service and they sent me a bag of Cosmo Red Dazzlers to throw in with them. . . for free! Thank you American Meadows, you are GREAT!"

Bright & Pretty

"I created a custom seed mix including two types of cosmos, zinnias, bachelor's buttons and painted daisies since all did well last year (the painted daisies were an experiment this year. I have never planted them before)in a 600 square foot cutting garden I plant with annuals every year. The zinnias did so well that they out-competed all the other seeds so I only got a few cosmos up and blooming. The sulphur cosmos actually did better than the pink cosmos. Their unique leaf shape made them easy to ID when we weeded. (Regular cosmos and dog fennel look very similar when young except for dog fennels fuzzy stems) I have had excellent success with these before so I think either my zinnia to cosmos seed ratio was off or weather conditions encouraged the zinnias more than the cosmos. Love the bright orange in this mix and I am not really an orange person."

Beautiful color - little water

"Added late color for our house tour, I grew in lawn circles & they looked beautiful - same with mexican sunflowers"

These yellow beauties did wonderful. Very pleased.

"I needed to reestablish my wildflower garden area after hubby weed killed the wrong garden! Hopefully these pretty gems reseeded for next year. They looked great along the back of the area."
