"We added a wild flower lawn. Beautiful, lots of pollinators loved it. No mowing, and a change of flowers as the summer goes on."
"Planted these in the winter in Phoenix, AZ and we got some good rainfall! Everything sprouted within a few weeks and starting in March and now continuing into April and May, I assume, we are getting SO MANY FLOWERS!! I am completely obsessed. Even with the harsh sun, these little flowers persevere!"
"I had a large, unused vegetable garden plot that I decided to turn into a wildflower garden. I followed the instructions and started last fall to clear the plot of all weeds and grass and sowed the seeds after a hard frost. This spring they have been growing and blooming like crazy. I weeded again aggressively in the spring, but now that things are more established I don't have to weed very much. I see lots of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds enjoying the garden."
"I had to plant these late, due to some earth moving happening in our yard earlier in the season. These seem to have taken well and are growing nicely. I'm not sure if I'll see blooms before winter comes."
"Plant in distinct bare area. Use rake to open up soil. Seed and stamp down. Water."
"Mix this with the western variety and planted way late in the season and still have lush healthy growth and beautiful color! Couldn't be happier!"
"I find new gifts in the wildflower patch every day or so and the bees are buzzing!"
"I'm really happy with my results. We didn't get much rain in California this year, so I watered to keep hope alive. I'm trying for a meadow, and this has been a very encouraging beginning. Next year, I'll sow earlier, (december), and scratch up the soil a little. None the less, I've got lots of color and lots of bees."
