They germinated, but needed to be watered on the side of the

"This was my first year and I thought I could just scatter them and they would grow. Now I know for best germination they need to be planted in cultivated Soil, watered in till they germinate. The ones I worked into the soil did much better and I could tell where to water."

Not like the photo shown on the web

"The mix might be good for highway, it's not a good choice for private road that you share with neighbors. After seeing a big percentage of sunflower seeds, I throw them into the woods."

Junebug (3/5)

High hopes

"Out of everything ordered, this mix has been the most successful in germinating. Not growing fast though. I hope to see some color before frost."

They look like the picture

"These took a little longer to come up but they are really nice to look at."

GBO (5/5)

Over again and again

"We went with the DOT mix because we expected great results and we got them. Our backyard has been converted from "lawn" to "butterfly/bee paradise". We will purchase more seeds next year!"

Fluff F. (5/5)

bright showcase

"We have a small cemetery on our property, we have a dirt road that cut in front of it so people can still get to it. On the other side of the road in front of the cemetery we plant these flowers, it makes a beautiful roadway for the people that come by to visit there loved ones."

Knee K. (5/5)

a true show stopper mix

"We received the seeds in early spring - scuffed-up the prepared soil according to instructions and within a month had some beautiful foliage with blooms. We had a beautiful wildflower bed which the birds and bees loved through a hard frost. We are planning on expanding the bed this spring."

Maggiemae (5/5)

seem to be doing great

"Just spread the seeds and you will see results"
