Add beauty without the browse-by nibble with our Oh Deer Naturalizing Bulb Collection, a resilient mix of species iris and Dutch crocus selected for early color and natural deer resistance. These petite powerhouses may be small in stature, but they make a big seasonal statement, emerging in early spring with jewel-toned blooms in shades of purple, blue, and gold. Planted in clusters or drifts, they create a naturalized look that feels effortless and enduring.
Designed to return and multiply over time, this collection is ideal for lawns, borders, rock gardens, and woodland edges. Species iris offer intricate, orchid-like blooms close to the ground, while Dutch crocuses bring classic cup-shaped flowers that open wide in the sun. Together, they provide early-season interest when little else is in bloom, while supporting pollinators and signaling the start of the growing season.
Low-maintenance and reliable, these bulbs thrive in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil. Their deer-resistant qualities make them especially useful in areas where browsing is a concern, allowing for a consistent and colorful spring display year after year.
