The snowy blooms of 'Joan Of Arc' Dutch Crocus are complemented by the showy star-shaped blooms of White Squill to help chase away the winter blues. These bee-friendly blooms provide an early source of pollen. Perfect for containers or massing as a groundcover beneath shrubs and perennials. Bulbs and blooms resist deer browsing. Collection of 70 bulbs.

Description

Our Precious Pearls Bulb Collection chases away the winter blues with some of the earliest spring bulbs. Beginning in late winter, the pure-white flowers of 'Joan Of Arc' Dutch Crocus sparkle across the landscape, heralding the change of seasons. Purple striations and an elegant shape set this distinctive crocus apart. White Squill opens late winter to early spring, sending up showy spikes of blooms. A delicate blue stripe lines each petal of these long-lasting flowers.  Both bulbs are rugged and dependable, perfect for naturalizing in hardiness zones 4 through 9. Provide a site with full to partial sun during bloom time and a well-draining soil. These bulbs look lovely massed beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, where they will receive plenty of sun before the tree canopy fills. Bulbs will increase slowly over time to form small clumps.
