Why Plant A Wildflower Mix? We've been crafting and refining wildflower mixes since we first began selling seeds in 1981. With over four dozen choices, we have mixes based on geographic regions, bloom cycles (such as All Annual Mix and All Perennial Mix, and many special purposes (such as Dry Area Mix, Wildlife Habitat, and Partial Shade Mix). All are easy to grow and have been designed to provide a long season of blooms.
A balanced mix of annuals and perennials: annuals bloom in the first season, just 6-8 weeks after planting, and provide color all season long. A colorful array of perennial wildflowers will bloom in the second season and for many years to come.

"I followed the directions and planted next to my garage two years ago. I am finally seeing daisies and some color this year, though I can't identify the flowers for sure. I read somewhere to give it time and I'm glad I did, but even after watering every day I saw no flowers the first year. It could be my mistake. It could be the seeds. I'm happy to see flowers now because the daisies are my favorite."
"I added a packet of cosmos seeds to the mix. When they came up, there were a LOT of cosmos and only a few others. There are a very few Allysum and California Poppies from the mix. Overall, not worth the time, effort, labor, water, and cost. I'm really disappointed."
"This is my first flower garden attempt. The preparation of the soil was the most difficult part. Once the seed was down, I only had to water, wait, and enjoy. I will definitely be doing this again."
"I was very pleased with my Mini Meadow Mix planting. I began seeing color about 5 weeks after planting and it just took off from there. I had lots of flowers and nice colors all season long. I really enjoyed the Borage and Alyssum in the early summer and the Zinnias and Cosmos that came into bloom mid-summer and last all the way until our first frosts. It was great for attracting Monarchs and we were able to cut numerous bouquets during the late summer months."
"I wanted to have a flower garden and the idea of mixed flowers seemed like a great one. I do have chickens, so it was an upwards battle for me but eventually we got some seeds to stick and grow and boy, it's beautiful! Pictures don't do it justice! There are a lot of more orange flowers than I would have planted personally, but I can keep those out for the bees and clip the other ones for a bouquet for inside. I'm very happy with these flowers!"
