Reviews

"I just sowed the seeds so I cannot tell if they will be successful yet but the last two years I used these wildflower seeds and my parkway strip has thrived. Loads of blooms, butterflies and bees."

Thomas (4/5)

Good germination, non native

"These are not native plants, however, I had such a big success with them. I scattered them late fall last year without preparing the soil as I was tired. And now early spring, to my surprise a green patch is sprouting and looking nice so far."

Ella (5/5)

"I've ordered from them several times and have always had good results with their seed mixes. I haven't tried any of their potted plants yet. The 1/2 pound bag is more than enough to plant my 100'×200' pollinator garden. I especially like that they're matched to your gardening zone."

Gregg (5/5)

Coming back for more!

"I planted my 1st wildflower strip last Fall using seed from American Meadows. I mixed the Dry Meadow Mix & the Midwest Wildflower Mix. I am beyond thrilled with the results & amazed at the increase in insect and bird activity in my yard. I am back to order more seed because I am expanding."

Lisa O. (5/5)

Border

"I created a border patch along a drainage ditch. The blooms are beautiful and the flower mix is amazing."

Mo (5/5)

Five species bloomed for one year

"Cornflower and red clover came up. Red clover isn't supposed to be in the mix, but it was pretty. Had a paltry showing of other species. Branded for season-long blooms, I have a fantastic show for a single month. I've heard from many that all mixes are hit-and-miss. Very disappointed."

Sammy (2/5)

3 Years in a row success!

"We have converted areas where we once raised pumpkins to wildflowers/ pollinators. We are in our third year of planting. I discovered American Meadows and there videos caught my attention of "the how to" when getting started. I am a retired. Certified Crop Adviser but the information provided was excellent. We fall plant and have had great success 3 years in a row with American Meadows products especially Midwest Wildflowers mix. #sweepstakes"

Randy (5/5)

Beautiful but not native

"They bloomed beautifully, but I was aiming to build a native wildflower bed. My mistake for not reading the print carefully that they are plants that "thrive in the Midwest" not that are native here. Glad I was able to build a pollinator garden, but bummed to have introduced non native species."

Little piece of heaven

"I don't think there is a word to describe the beauty that has grown in my yard. Heaven might be as close as I can get! I mixed a few different kinds of mixes, Midwest wildflowers, spring into summer and monarch highway. I followed the instructions that came with it, very easy to do, then just let nature take its course. I have more birds, butterflies, dragonflies, and bees, but interestingly, fewer wasps and mosquitos. I'm expanding heaven next year to fill in the rest of my yard. 10/10 recommend this!!! All my friends are jealous!"

#sweepstakes-i would purchase this seed again.

"The young family members, nephews and nieces love to run thru them and pick bouquets for their moms. Have enough to supply fresh cut flowers for a wedding."
