A South Carolina gardener who planted this mix despite partial sun conditions was amazed: "The flowers came up beautifully, even with only 3-4 hours of direct sun! The bees and butterflies love them. I’m curious to see which perennials return next year." Another shared, "We have a hard-to-grow section in our yard, and this mix was perfect. Neighbors keep complimenting the tall cosmos and bright flowers!"

"Shipping cost are VERY high."
"Fantastic. I spread a pound of the wildflower seeds in an area where we lost a tree to Helene and it transformed an ugly dirty spot in the yard to an amazing area of flowers. Absolutely beautiful and filled with bees, butterflies and birds. There were some yellow finches that feasted on the sunflowers. The photos do not do it justice. I used a pound for an area about 10' x 25'."
"These seeds really performed for us last year. I created a border along our street for people to enjoy as they walked through our 'hood during the pandemic. We had A LOT of walkers. :) I prepped the area by raking away a strip of the lawn, but honestly left about half the grass still there because I wanted more of a meadow than just flowers, if that makes sense. So it was largely green with flowers. I'm happy that we left some grass, it worked well and looked good, imo. Make sure to keep those seeds moist for germination! The cosmos grew to over 6' tall before they bloomed in the early fall. We had HUGE orange blooms in October. Quite a show!"
"Soo easy to plant and looks fabulous! All visitors love it and want to know the secret to the beauty! Quality seeds from American Meadows it is. . ."
