Gorgeous blooms

"I sell cut flowers on the roadside and intermingled the wild flowers with my cultivated flowers. Gorgeous cosmos. Many in this mix. EASY to grow. I live in Zone 3 and they did amazing. Feeding the bees too!"

!!WARNING!! Goats are not wildlife

"I bought this a few years back based on the name because I wanted some wildflowers in my pasture area. Only after it arrived did I realize it contained lupine, which is poisonous to ALL animals. This blend includes several poisonous plants (both to goats and to household pets) Very Toxic to goats: Scarlet Flax, Blue Flax, Candytuft, Mildly Toxic to goats: California Poppy, Cheiranthus allionii Toxic to almost ALL animals: Baby's Breath, Lupine American Meadows - PLEASE release a wildflower blend that's safe for goats/grazing (you sell dozens of safe wildflowers, but every one of your blends has at least a few very toxic plants)"

Be careful with stated coverage. . .

"Be very careful with coverage of this product. I have about 1,300 square feet to cover so got 2 lbs. The seed is going on SO thin that I didn't even get to roughly 1/4 of the area that I wanted to cover. I've ordered more seed, and we'll see how it grows, but this is ending up to be more than I wanted to spend for this area given its location on our property. I'm not new to this but am very surprised at the stated coverage. We'll see how it comes up in a couple of months."

Word to the wise

"If you want a field of wild flowers this is not for you. This is as its stated, to create a thriving wildlife. Wildlife, such as rabbits and deer, prefer the flower buds and blooms so while you will get wildlife as advertised, the flowers really aren't for your enjoyment as much as there with this pack. Just realize that when buying. It DOES attract wildlife though 😃."

Underwhelmed???

"Well, I'm a bit bummed at the lack of color. It filled in really nice BUT!!!! Where are the flowers!!!??. We planted in May and have had plenty of rain and sunshine here in central PA. I bought the 10 lbs bag with hopes of seeding all around my house creating a colorful meadow to enjoy and to feed our lands wildlife. We did get a ton of clover so excited to feed the rabbits and deer. Some pretty tall grass is growing but just a pretty flower here and there. I'm underwhelmed and pretty bummed at the lack of flowers. I keeping waiting!!! Maybe late summer? Maybe better next year? I just feel like the mix had more clover and grasses than flower seeds."

Caution

"I was elated to see this combo flower/grain/grass mixture to feed the wildlife during the cold months. However, although I am not certain that the Lupine flower is harmful to small mammalian wildlife, I can state that it is very toxic cats. So, caution in planting this mixture if you have stray/feral cats visiting your property. I do hope this comment gets published due to it cautionary warning."

Love it! Produced well. Great add to my habitat gardens.

"I broadcasted this mix in sections of my pasture and lawn. Is attractive and the increase in birds and pollinators was wonderful."

Rosemary (5/5)

Wild flowers flourishing

"These wildlife seed pack is perfect. We scattered them in a sunny spot after tilling our garden and they grew with regular watering. They are now starting to bloom. Even if you have a small garden it is easy to scatter into the bare areas after tilling. Helps satisfy national Wildlife's garden for wildlife component."

Crissy (5/5)

Fed the BIrds All WInter Long!

"Planted this mix in our meadow last spring and had a great take on grass and annuals - a really attractive mix of bright flowers and grass. Can't wait to see the perennials coming up this year. After we mowed the fields in the fall, watched the birds foraging all winter and into the spring."
