"Didn't expect them to get sooo tall, but they did. Just wish they would have more flowers. Very sporatic. But the plant is still attractive. Other flowers have buds but are still deciding to bloom out. We'll see. . . it's still a bit early, but I am in zone 9, Carencro, Louisiana, and the thing is that the 90 degree weather is not far off!"
"I planted my seed from you in the early summer, thinking it would be too late for any results. The soil where I planted is very poor quality as far as garden soil goes, but the seeds sprouted and, in spite of the poor soil and dry weather, they soon began to flower and cover up the unsightly spot it was in. That was in 2016. A second crop has voluntarily sprung up this spring, more abundant and beautiful than last year. Not all the seeds in the packet grew here, but the ones that did are simply marvelous. I gave the little Christmas packet you sent me, to my sister for her to plant at her house. Her patch is growing, and she is, as I am, grateful for the results."
